Derek and I (and Miss 8 of course) are now farmers apparently, although got to admit not unhappy about the fact that I am sitting close to my heater and not out in the vineyard this morning at 7am (Derek said it was a balmy 9C).

The front block was Barrel Pruned yesterday (that's when a tractor drives a Mechanical pruner over the vines to get rid of a lot of the excess canes) and the pruners are hand pruning today. With the use of battery powered cutters, they work really quickly!
