Family Fun

Have a great family fun visit to the Barossa, with these suggestions!

When you come to Paisley Wines to visit, you will find that we have a few things for the kids to do while you are tasting. This means it’s less about, “I’m bored, Mum”, to “Phew, I actually can actually enjoy the wines in front of me!”

Keeping the kids busy

Riding a bike along one of the many bike paths in the Barossa is a great way to keep them active. You can take the bikes to the Barossa Adventure Station. Confident riders can enjoy the dirt bike track just behind the upper play area. You can hire bikes from Barossa Bike if you are coming by plane.

Play at a playground including the Barossa Adventure Station in Angaston and the Barossa Train Park in Nuriootpa (which has a skate ramp).

Summertime pool fun. If you are thinking of staying in an Airbnb that doesn’t have a pool, the Nuriootpa Pool is open right through the warmer months. During the school holidays, school kids can swim for free. Check out the website for the times the pool will be open.

Chocolate deliciousness can be had at the Melba’s Chocolates or the Barossa Chocolate Company. Find the drawers on the far end wall at the Barossa Choc Company. Open the drawer to see what’s inside! They also have ice-cream available for sale and offer a food menu.

The Discovery Caravan Park in Tanunda has a waterpark – fun times for the warmer weather.

A trip to Mengler’s Hill Lookout and Sculpture Park is a fun way to get the kids to have a run around for free! The sculpture park gives the kids a place to climb and run, a great place for family photos.

Barossa Bowland & Mini Golf – a fun few hours can be spent at Barossa Bowland and check out the dinosaurs in the Mini Golf course.

We think you will find some great family fun ideas in this list!
